Sitting across the table

A face provoking me to be unstable

Looking vaguely familiar

Faintly disinterested Casually Caviliar

It is my old friend turned enemy

A girl I knew once by the name of temptation

Luring me away to those familiar lanes

Of enjoyable sensuous depravation

Sorry, I will pass

You want to say

But something chokes

My throat today

Instead I smile back,

Offer to buy her a drink

A familiar road downhill

It is okay, I think
