The Misunderstood Genius

He wore green socks

and a blue hat

He looked dashing in this coat grey

But somehow he looked a bit mad

And though they mocked

And laughed at the passion in his voice

He spread his arms wide

And flew onto the skies

Then they thought no one is indispensable

No can be not disposed for silver coin

But the genius bird having flown

No satisfactory replacement could they find

And though they begged and borrowed

And tried to steal his crazy mind

He left them sweating and stealing

A year and a two behind
