this is how we look

this is how we look when we grow old

this is how we look when for money we sold

goods services plans poetry prose

they might be red but did you ever see a free rose

this is how we look when our limbs lock in

this is how we look when our brains sin

when they malfunction enough to demand care

we find ourself alone in the asylum no one here

this is how we look when the fingers can no longer type

this is how we look when we submit a complaint or gripe

why must we type why must we spin the bottle so

because we never thought when young we ever grow old

this is how we look when late at night

this is how we look with our Bible and our plight

this is how we look when we tell our story

this is how we look when we are finding dory
